On October 22nd, more than 80 representatives from more than a hundred European cultural entities and organizations met virtually at the traditional meeting marking the start of projects funded by Creative Europe. Once again, we participated presenting the project “Be (P) Art. Grow with arts ”.
Attendees at the meeting were the latest beneficiaries of the current Creative Europe 2014-2020 program in which the Catalan PEN has been selected in two of the four calls to lead projects on literature, human rights and youth. Gemma Rodríguez, Coordinator of European Projects of the Catalan PEN, represented “Be (P) Art. Grow with arts” in this meeting in which the COVID-19 and its impact on the cultural sector have been one of the main items.
During the meeting, Walter Zampieri, Head of the EACEA Creative Europe unit, highlighted the good progress of negotiations between governments to define the budget and strategic lines of the future Creative Europe program that will be in force during the period 2021-2027.
